The IREDS Institute conducted the two-day international training “Family Therapy”, which is accredited by the Kosovo Chamber of Nurses.
The training was held by Olaf Dunse, docent and therapist with 30 years of experience working with children and adolescents.
On the first day, the basics of systemic therapy were discussed
family therapy, as well as perspectives and methods of systemic family therapy were offered, with a focus on concrete implementation in practice.
On the second day, the perspective and methods of systematic family therapy, systematic interviewing for solution-oriented communication with clients were practiced.
We consider that such trainings are necessary in the Kosovar context to empower mental health professionals, versus working with families.
