First, IREDS has conducted an assesment for estimating areas for emphasizing the focus of the training in the field of Non-discrimination and Inclusive Communication.

Based on that, IREDS experts designed and delivered training for PIN staff in the Western Balkans to improve their ability to foster equality and respect for diversity and understand the impacts of racism, discrimination or prejudices to enable applying an intersectional lens to planning, activity implementation, engagement with beneficiaries/stakeholders, and fostering internal communication and cooperation.
The training addressed the conscious and unconscious bias that can influence PIN’s work and PIN’s ability to consider a diverse range of perspectives. The training also addressed the issues of promoting inclusive communication both internally and externally with beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders.
